2nde: “great craic exploring Dublin…”

Ireland trip 2016: our 2nde class had a wonderful week exploring Eire’s rich literary   heritage and Irish hospitality. From the Old Library and Book of Kells in Trinity College to the James Joyce Tower and Dublin Writers’ Museum, the students visited city sites and experiences that have influenced famous Irish names from George Bernard Shaw to Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett. And not forgetting more recent political history, students also had a personal tour of the Irish Parliament and a sobering visit to the Famine Museum in Roscommon. Thanks to the teachers for organizing such an unforgettable trip. “Great craic!”
