Perspectives from a French author

Thanks to French novelist Alice Ferney who shared her thoughts on writing and literature with our 1ère and 3è ‘internationales’ as well the ‘littéraires’ in Terminal et 2nde last week. “It was very interesting to hear about her writing process, which seems so personal but also universal, like her preference for writing about things she has never lived, or her intuition for writing about a specific topic rather than a story,” said one 1er student. A great way to hear about the persistence and lucky breaks that can take someone from a PhD and teaching Economics to becoming a full-time writer…. On the way out even the gardienne requested a selfie with this famous visitor to Camille Sée!  Many thanks to Muriel Debié, Camille See parent, for setting up this talk.
