Revisiting history

A day trip to Normandy for 3è in a class project that has been exploring  events in Europe’s history over the last 100 years during which some 60 million people have lost their lives. Students appreciated a visit to the Caen Normandy Memorial to remember the importance of peace and reconciliation, followed by a moving visit to the D-Day beaches and nearby cemeteries. Thanks to our teaching team for handling this topic with such sensitivity.
